We are an LEED Consultant, buildings that achieve specific sustainability and energy efficiency criteria are awarded the LEED certification. The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) created this third-party certification program to assess buildings' environmental performance and advance sustainable design. A building must register with the USGBC to be eligible for LEED certification. After registration, the building is assessed regarding emissions, materials and resources, energy use, indoor environmental quality, and water efficiency. Buildings must undergo a recertification procedure every four years to ensure they still adhere to LEED requirements. LEED-certified structures are not only more efficient and sustainable, but they are also more valued and appealing to tenants. LEED certification has become popular, with over 1 billion square feet of space accredited globally. Additionally, the USGBC provides a range of LEED building rating systems for residential, educational, and medical structures.
